The Role of Higher Education Outputs and its Impact on the Labor Market: An Exploratory Study of the Opinions of a Sample of Faculty Members in a Number of Public and Private Universities in the City of Erbil-Kurdistan-Iraq

Abstract
The research aims to know the role of the outputs of public and private universities represented
by (the quality of the qualitative level of graduates, scientific projects that meet the needs of the
labor market, the reputation of the university and the satisfaction of the beneficiaries) in the labor
market. A set of hypotheses were set for the purpose of achieving the research objectives and
problem, which were tested with multiple statistical tools by the Statistical Analysis Program
(SPSS 20). A questionnaire was formulated and distributed to a sample of faculty members in a
number of universities. The research concluded that there is a relationship between the outputs of
universities and the labor market. In this regard, the research presented a set of proposals, the
most important of which is the importance of understanding the needs and requirements of the
labor market in terms of the quality and efficiency of graduates in order to prepare highly
qualified individuals for the labor market
