Abstract
This study aims at defining the effect of using modern technology on developing Tawjihi students’ English language skills (reading, listening, and grammar). The researcher used two different research methods: the analytical descriptive approach used in extrapolating the independent variable and the dependent variable, and the experimental approach used in measuring the independent variable (Modern Technology). The study sample consisted of randomly selected twelfth grade students in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Students were divided into two groups. The first experimental group was taught using an educational program based on modern technology, while the other control group was taught using the traditional approach. The researcher designed an achievement test consisting of (30) questions in the first semester of the academic year 2019-2020.The results of the study showed that there was a positive effect of the use of modern technology in teaching.
